Nordic Track X3 Reviews

I just set mine up and did a workout (Aug 2, 2009).

There are things I could complain about. The cup holders are at an angle that will spill your drink.

The assembly process was very tough, and a lot of the screws had to be threaded 4 or 5 times before they went in correctly.

The harness from the unit to the display was too short forcing me to push it out the bottom of the upright, and pushing the one from the console under the console housing to connect.

The harness connection is the worse connection I’ve ever seen on a consumer product. I had two fellow middle aged neighbors over and we tried for well over an hour to get the thing connected.

My 14 year old daughter was able to do it in a couple of minutes once showed her how we thought it SHOULD connect.

The display is a cheap one tone orange thing that you cannot see without your glasses and if you are not at the right angle.

But, and this is why I got it, the workout itself is pretty good. I realize that there are some websites they mention a 175 pound limited on this but I am more than that and I think the thing would work with people of 250 or 260 pounds. The thing is pretty easy on your knees which is a big concern of mine since I’ve had multiple surgeries on both and have advanced DJD in my right one.

I’ll let you know if I decide to use their service, but right now the thing is working great in spite of my unauthorized modifications.
